Why Gunite?

A gunite pool offers endless design possibilities compared to standard type vinyl.  Any shape, design, depth, and size is possible. You’re only limited by your imagination, since a gunite pool is 100% custom. Reinforced steel rods are tied together in forming the shape and then concrete is pneumatically shot out of a special gun to form the floors and walls. When finished a gunite pool gives a more natural and elegant look compared to liner pools due to a tile band and marble coated shell.  A gunite swimming pool will last forever.

Our Planning Process

We start by assessing your property and its orientation to your homes most used space. Landscape architects and engineers are consulted in order to achieve your vision. Everything from size, safety and privacy are taken into consideration. Once a plan is in-place we then overlay it with patios, walkways and most importantly landscaping to both ensure screening for privacy and color for beauty. Once everything is to your approval the permit process can begin and our in-house personnel is ready to break ground making your vision a reality.

Custom features such as salt water generators, color changing LED lights, beach entries, sundecks, fire and water bowls, customs slides, waterfalls, swim-up bars, spillover spas, deck jets and bubblers are all available to make your environment unique. All of these features including your pumps, filters and heaters are fully integrated through control systems operable from your smart phone.

The most popular feature in the last decade are automatic safety pool covers. These covers travel under the coping eliminating visibility of any tracks or mechanisms allowing a fully custom and seamless installation. Restoration

After several years your marble coating will wear thin due to chemicals necessary in keeping the water clear and clean. When the time comes no one restores and refinishes a gunite swimming pool with the care and methodology that TPC provides. When we restore a gunite pool certain techniques are employed that make the pool look and function better than new by providing upgraded products and technologies.
